“Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End" is a PBS Frontline documentary that follows Dr. Atul Gawande and his awakening regarding the importance of engaging patients in conversation regarding their end-of-life wishes. Dr. Gawande is a professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard School of Public Health.
The free viewing of the one-hour documentary is open to all staff and the community. A panel discussion will follow to provide information and materials on Advance Directive/Living Wills. Staff will also be available to help anyone who would like to discuss their wishes or even complete an Advance Directive/Living Will. For more information about the event, please download this flier.
