As system director for KentuckyOne's Patient & Family Experience division, Melissa Marksbury Roe (left, top) formed a management team that will lead the charge in building a world-class patient and family experience within our facilities across the Commonwealth. Please welcome these talented leaders to their new roles.
Cara Martinez - Language & Cultural Services Manager, KentuckyOne Health
Martinez (left, second from top) most recently served as language services supervisor for University of Louisville Hospital. In her new role, Martinez will implement best practices across KentuckyOne for the diverse populations we serve with a focus on language, culture and family needs.
Melissa Deaver - Patient & Family Experience Manager, Louisville Market
Deaver (left, third from top) most recently served as a communications manager for KentuckyOne Health. Prior to joining KentuckyOne in March, Deaver spent nearly three years as the marketing and communications manager for University of Louisville Hospital | James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Deaver will oversee all Patient & Family Experience staff in the Louisville market, work hand-in-hand with leaders to implement best practices and develop innovative approaches to the patient and family experience.
Scott Mays - Patient & Family Experience Manager, Central/Eastern Market
Mays (left, bottom) brings with him five years of service excellence experience in the central and eastern Kentucky market. In his new role Mays will have responsibility for the central and eastern Kentucky market and will oversee all Patient & Family Experience staff in that market, work in tandem with Melissa Deaver to implement best practices, innovative approaches and a consistent message regarding service for the Patient & Family Experience across KentuckyOne Health.
