  Non-Clinical Offices Closed in Observance of Christmas 

All offices and non-patient care functions are closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25, in observance of Christmas. Additionally, non-clinical offices are closed Dec. 31-Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's.

  Your Personal HR Information is Moving

For employees of the former JHSMH, starting this Sunday, Dec. 23, your employee-related information will begin moving to HR/Payroll Connection online. (Complete your required training through LEARN to be prepared.) You’ll use HR/Payroll Connection to view/print your pay statements, check your paid time off balance, reference benefits information and manage your direct deposit account.

  STEMI Network Established in Louisville 

Jewish Hospital has begun a new program known as the “STEMI Network” in collaboration with Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Service. The STEMI Network decreases the time from the onset of symptoms of Acute Coronary Syndrome (heart attack) to the time a blocked artery is opened in the Cath Lab.

  KentuckyOne Supports Mobile WIC Site   

Families enrolled in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program are now able to use their mobile phones to find the nearest WIC-approved grocer and to check their WIC monthly balances thanks to a new mobile website, KYWIC.com. Louisville’s new mobile WIC website is one of only a few such sites across the nation. It is being piloted in Louisville and will then be rolled out across Kentucky.

  Project GreenPrint Online Survey  

Over the next few months KentuckyOne Health facilities in Lexington, London, Martin, Berea and Bardstown are introducing a greener, more efficient way to print through "Project GreenPrint." The program, from CHI's new partner Ricoh, is already in place in Mount Sterling, and will likely be adopted throughout KentuckyOne Health.

Catholic Health Initiatives is partnering with Wipro, a global leader in consulting and technology services, for provision of select ITS technical services. The ITS Help Desk is the first to transition. While you may hear a different ITS Help Desk analyst’s voice on the phone, at this time there are no changes to the ITS Help Desk phone number or processes.

KentuckyOne Health identification badges will be distributed over the coming weeks to all KentuckyOne employees. These new "IDs" proudly display the KentuckyOne logo and colors, to correspond with our new brand, and is another step in bringing Lexington and Louisville employees together under the new health system.

“Infoline” will no longer be distributed via email or in print to all employees in the Louisville market. Its last publication date will be Dec. 21. Additionally, "The Source" will no longer be distributed via email to Louisville employees. News and information is now available on the employee website, KentuckyOne Online.
