  Signs of Change 

KentuckyOne Health is updating exterior branded signage at all of our facilities. After this rebranding work is finished, all facilities will display new signage to reflect the KentuckyOne identity. It's important that our distinctive logo, colors and graphics are used to distinguish ourselves and the KentuckyOne Health brand. The KentuckyOne marketing department and facilities management will oversee this project, expected to be completed by October of this year.

  Saint Joseph Jessamine to Establish Digital Mammography Suite 

The Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation received a generous gift from the RJ Corman Railroad Group to bring digital mammography services to Saint Joseph Jessamine. This gift was made in honor of Rick Corman’s sister, Sandy, and will create the Sandra J. Adams Digital Mammography Suite. Corman is the founder of the RJ Corman Railroad Group. The suite opens in April.

  Louisville Selected for Headquarters

Louisville was selected as the headquarters location for KentuckyOne Health. Our corporate offices will be located in downtown Louisville at 100 East Liberty Street in the Jewish Hospital Medical Plaza building. Renovations are expected to be completed by December 2013. While the corporate headquarters will be in Louisville, KentuckyOne is a statewide organization. Additional corporate leadership, support offices will remain located throughout the Commonwealth, including Lexington.

McKesson STAR Go-Live Postponed: After much consideration, a decision was made to postpone the Feb. 1 go-live on McKesson STAR at several Louisville facilities. A new go-live date will be announced. Read More

AEHR Implementation Suspended for KentuckyOne Louisville Practices: The Ambulatory Electronic Health Record go-live originally scheduled to begin this week for physician practices in Louisville was postponed. A new go-live date will be announced. Read More

  Rudd Heart & Lung Center Goes Red   

KentuckyOne Health is lighting Louisville "RED" this February. The Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart and Lung Center has joined other landmarks going red across the country to commemorate American Heart Month.

KentuckyOne Employees Go Red

Feb. 1 marked the first day of National Heart Month and National Wear Red Day. On this day KentuckyOne Health took women’s health to heart. Several events were held across the state to raise awareness, and employees decked out in red to show their support of the fight against women’s cardiovascular disease.   Leadership Commitments in Action 

When Jennifer Nolan visits employees on their units at Our Lady of Peace, one of her goals is to pass on a can-do attitude. The KentuckyOne Health Leadership Commitments she keeps on the bulletin board by her office phone serve as a daily touchpoint. Jennifer recently discussed the commitment “I will talk about the future with honesty, enthusiasm and a positive perspective that gives people the courage to go forward in the face of great change” at KentuckyOne Online.

Dr. Rejith Paily, internal medicine physician with Jewish Physician Group Jefferson Medical Associates, has been voted "Best Of Kentuckiana-Family Physician" by WHAS11.com. Dr. Paily has been in practice for 15 years, 11 years at Jefferson Medical, located on the campus of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

Daycare Openings in Lexington 

The Saint Joseph Children's Center, located across the street from Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, currently has limited availability in the ones, twos, threes and preschool classrooms. The center is open Monday-Friday from 6:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., and serves all KentuckyOne Health employees. Contact Brinley Curtis, manager, at 859.254.7313 for more information or to make an appointment to tour the center.

Leadership Changes 

Chris Mays retires as chief operating officer/chief nursing executive for Saint Joseph Hospital effective March 4.
Mendy Evans was promoted to the role of regional vice president of finance for the central Kentucky market.
Robert Brock, vice president of finance for Saint Joseph London, will leave the organization March 8.
Bob Ziegenfuss, business unit controller for KentuckyOne, will leave the organization Feb. 15.
