Appreciation is the glue that holds teams together. It’s an exciting time as we continue to roll out our KentuckyOne brand. We ask that all practice/business managers update any outdated forms that are used in your office with the new KentuckyOne standards. We have an in-house printing company and a simple process to do this. When patients are completing paperwork, they should see the new KentuckyOne practice name and logo. This lets them connect our care with the larger brand, and begins to build awareness, familiarity and comfort.

Anthem Participant Data Compromised 

As you may have seen in the news, health insurer Anthem was the target of a very sophisticated, external cyber-attack which could potentially impact millions of Anthem’s customer data. We have been informed by CHI that this includes potential impact to employees located at KentuckyOne Health and Consolidated Health Services. Please note: No KentuckyOne Health or KentuckyOne Health Partners information systems were compromised during this breach.

Saint Joseph Hospital Using Intraoperative CT to Support Decision-Making in the OR 

Saint Joseph Hospital can now use CT technology in the operating room during surgery for timely and informed decision-making. The hospital is the first facility in Kentucky and only the tenth in the U.S. to have this advanced imaging technology within the operating room. On Thursday, Feb. 19, employees are invited to celebrate at a reception in front of the water wall in the lobby from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Enjoy demos, food, giveaways and drawings!

As we celebrate American Heart Month, KentuckyOne Health has a lot to be proud of, including continuing to lead the way in advances in heart care in Kentucky. KentuckyOne Heart Care across the Commonwealth is sharing expertise through clinical trials and advancements in minimally invasive heart care. In October of 2013, Drs.
