Participate in a Day of Service Project

To further the devotion and commitment that the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., demonstrated to service throughout his life, KentuckyOne Health calls you to serve! You’re encouraged to participate in a service project anytime this month, big or small, and share with us—serve meals at a homeless shelter, organize a food drive or shovel a neighbor's driveway. Due to the recent inclement weather, the submission deadline to share your service projects has been extended to Feb. 1.

Learn Bystander CPR, Take Part in the Taking it to the Heart’ Tour

KentuckyOne Health is launching a statewide initiative, called the Taking it to the Heart Tour, designed to train or teach thousands of Kentuckians in hands-only bystander CPR during the month of February, which is American Heart Month. Employees from all facilities interested in becoming trainers are invited to learn hands-only CPR and help during the tour stops across the state next month.

More trainers are needed, especially in the central and eastern market. Training will take place at various locations via video-conference and live streaming on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 9:30 a.m.

Attention Runners! Frazier Rehab, through their Sports Medicine program, is offering seven complimentary entries to register for the Triple Crown of Running in Louisville this winter and spring.
