Remote Citrix Users: Enroll in Secure Remote Access by March 31

Starting on March 31, users who remotely access webapps.catholichealth.net or acis.catholichealth.net via Citrix will be required to enroll in the Secure Remote Access tool, Duo. At that time, anyone who has not enrolled will be prompted to do so when they log in to Citrix systems and applications while working remotely from outside the CHI/KentuckyOne network.

You could receive hundreds of points in the KentuckyOne employee recognition program’s March Madness sweepstakes. You’re automatically entered into the drawing each time you give or receive peer-to-peer recognition from March 1 through April 4. Weekly sweepstakes will award recognition points to 64, 32, 16 and 4 employees as the basketball tournament progresses. Winners of the final weekly drawing receive 800 points each!

At Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, a patient was scheduled to undergo an endoscopy procedure in the Same Day Surgery unit. A few days prior, he had an EKG through his family physician and was medically cleared for the procedure. After arriving in Same Day Surgery, the patient began experiencing general chest discomfort. McDonald’s® Restaurants of Kentuckiana celebrated Black History Month by honoring ten local high school students through the annual Black History Makers of Tomorrow scholarship program on Feb. 25 at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. Emergency Responders from KentuckyOne Health recently completed training offered by the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), in Anniston, Ala. The CDP is operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and is the only federally-chartered Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training facility in the nation.
