Becoming KentuckyOne: Video Message from Ruth Brinkley, President & CEO

Becoming the KentuckyOne of our vision requires dedication, and at times, difficult decisions. We have been through many challenges, especially over the past few months. KentuckyOne President & CEO Ruth Brinkley began a video series back in January in an effort to communicate with the KentuckyOne Health family and to keep everyone informed about our progress.

Today marks the release of the third video in our ongoing Becoming KentuckyOne series, as Ruth shares details about our positive progress to become an even higher quality and financially viable organization.

Two-factor Authentication for Remote Access is Here

Like Google and many other organizations across the country, CHI is adding two-factor authentication, a practice requiring two different steps to verify a user’s identity, as an extra layer of security for remote access to CHI systems.

Called CHI Secure Access Two-factor Authentication, it is used only for remote access to CHI systems and will require two steps to authenticate users’ identities. Enrollment began Tuesday, May 20, at 6 p.m. EST and will be available on the CHI Secure Access page of Inside CHI and on local intranets.

This policy not only benefits the organization from a cost perspective, but it allows for employees to enjoy time off with their families. The program includes the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
