Great Catch: Abbie Wilder

Abbie Wilder, a radiology tech at Saint Joseph London, went to a nursing floor to perform a portable knee X-ray on a patient who had fallen prior to presenting to the hospital for care. When repositioning the patient for the procedure, Abbie suspected a hip injury. Thus, she sought out the mid-level provider and obtained an order for a hip X-ray, which indeed revealed a fractured hip. Thanks, Abbie, for your commitment to our patients and for helping us to always provide safe, quality care and exceptional service!

Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital Holds
‘Trunk-or-Treat’ for Local Community

Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital held its first annual "Trunk-or-Treat" this Halloween and it was a huge success. About 500 children from the surrounding neighborhoods poured into the parking lot of the hospital to trick-or-treat in a safe, festive environment. Hospital employees dressed up in fun costumes and decorated their vehicles' trunks to pass out candy.
