KentuckyOne employees at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital gathered on Friday, Oct. 1, for family fun, fellowship and good food! Despite a little rain, the 2015 St. Mary’s Day Celebration was enjoyed by all. Food Day 2015 Celebration Encourages Healthier Eating Habits

As part of the CHI Food and Nutrition Services national program, several KentuckyOne Health facilities will be celebrating Food Day 2015 on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Participating facilities’ cafeterias will feature a special entrée that day, Caesar Salad with Herbed Chicken. In addition, we are asking everyone to consider the Food Day Apple Crunch as part of our celebration of Food Day. Crunching into an apple that day is meant to raise awareness about eating healthier diets, supporting local farmers and increasing consumption of fruits and vegetables.
