New Leader Pathway Program Begins
Friday, January 03, 2014
The Office of Organizational Development and Education is sponsoring a new program called “New Leader Pathway,” for newly hired and newly promoted leaders (download flyer for details and 2014 calendar here).
This skills development program offers leaders an opportunity to participate in two days of instructor-led training, facilitated by a broad cross-section of KentuckyOne Health leaders, coupled with independent video and online learning at their convenience. Thus, the new program recognizes need for skill building, and networking with peers and other leaders, while supporting good financial stewardship and individual learning needs and preferences.
Successful graduation from the New Leader Pathway program will require active participation in two instructor-led sessions. Participants may elect to attend the Louisville or central and eastern market programs; opening sessions begin Jan. 27 (in Lexington) and Feb. 13 (in Louisville). Participants will have ability to self-select the independent learning customized to their development needs and their job role. Participants also may attend either opening and closing session in the Louisville or central and eastern market. Closing sessions are Feb. 24 (in Lexington) and Mar.18 (in Louisville).
Interested new leaders may enroll on LEARN (search for KYONE-New Leader Pathway; you will be registering for an opening and a closing session). Or, contact LaVay Lauter, director of learning and development, at 502.562.7026.
This program is a collaboration of the Office of Organizational Development and Education, our Human Resource Business Partners, the Office of Patient Experience, and other leaders throughout KentuckyOne Health.
