New Allscripts Clinical Service Desk

KentuckyOne Health clinics using the Allscripts Enterprise Ambulatory Electronic Health Record (AEHR) now have access to the new Allscripts Clinical Service Desk (CSD).
The Allscripts CSD is available 24/7 at 855.291.3393.
The Allscripts CSD team supports issues with clinical content, education, documentation, clinical workflows and content flow within the AEHR.
The team has worked with clinical informaticists and physician liaisons to understand clinical workflows for primary and specialty clinics. This means users can expect a higher level of support and issue resolution regarding:
- Patient notes
- Clinical documentation
- Medication administration, scanning and reconciliation
CSD staff is working closely with National ITS Service Desk staff, which will continue to handle hardware and technical issues. If callers have technical issues, Allscripts CSD staff can transfer them to the ITS service team or log a ticket on their behalf.
Physician liaisons and clinical informaticists will continue to support physicians and advanced practice clinicians and will work with the CSD to resolve issues.
CHI and KentuckyOne Health are implementing CSD solutions for clinicians to improve their IT support experience. A CSD is Patrick Dougherty, director, Allscripts and Cerner applications.
