Watch for Fraudulent Emails from PaperlessEmployee.com
Due to increased security measures, CHI/KentuckyOne employees must create a secure account using Direct Authentication, via HR/Payroll Connection, to access their pay and tax information. Unfortunately, one of our business partners has alerted us that some employees may receive fraudulent phishing emails that appear to come from PaperlessEmployee.com. These emails include a link to a fraudulent (but legitimate-looking) website, where you would be prompted to provide the username and password for your secure account.
If you receive such an email, do not click any links in the email or reply to the email. Instead, follow our Spam reporting process. Remember, you should access your CHI payroll and tax information only through HR/Payroll Connection, using the secure account you will set up.
Note that after you create your secure account, you will receive an email from PaperlessEmployee.com each time you access or update the account. However, those emails will be sent simply to verify that you are the person who accessed your account; they will never ask you for your username or password information.
Watch for Fraudulent Emails from payroll@catholichealth
There's another phishing email to watch for: this one appears to come from payroll@catholichealth, and claims to be a confirmation that you recently updated your email address via self service. If you receive this email, again, do not click any links in the email or reply to the email. Instead, follow our Spam reporting process. Thanks to everyone for being vigilant about spotting and reporting fraudulent emails.
