Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Collection Effort
Flaget Memorial Collection Effort
Several of our KentuckyOne facilities, including Jewish Hospital/Frazier, Flaget Memorial Hospital, Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Saint Joseph Hospital, recently collected gently used scrubs/uniforms to donate to those in need. Now that our professional image initiative is in effect, employees are wearing scrub colors and certain styles based on their roles and wanted to put their old clothing to good use.
Flaget Memorial Hospital and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital recently held scrub drives to benefit Supplies Over Seas. Employees at Flaget donated over 267 pounds of scrub uniform clothing. Through a similar dive, coordinated by the Green Team, employees at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital donated 197 scrub tops, 103 scrub pants and 14 scrub jackets totaling 187 pounds of scrubs.
Supplies Over Seas staff members were appreciative of the contribution and reiterated the need for scrubs in developing countries at health care locations and facilities. Many people around the globe will benefit because of the generosity of our employees. Supplies Over Seas is a Louisville-based nonprofit organization that sends medical equipment and supplies to other countries in need.
Thanks for your generous contributions!
