Start ‘Closing the Gap’: Next Diversity & Inclusion Speaker Series is April 7

KentuckyOne Health

The next session of the “Closing the Gap” Diversity & Inclusion Speaker Series is on Friday, April 7, featuring David B. Hunt, JD, president and chief executive officer of Critical Measures, LLC, discussing, “The New Science of Unconscious Bias: Implications for Patient Care.”

KentuckyOne Health is hosting a new guest speaker every quarter to discuss diversity and inclusion topics, such as gender, race, religion, culture and language. Employees and physicians are invited to attend — in-person or through a live-stream — to better understand the diverse needs and perspectives of our co-workers, patients and the communities we serve.

“We are eager to continue to foster a culture of inclusion, health equity and respect through this lunch and lecture series,” said Ryan Parker, system vice president of Diversity and Inclusion. “Take an hour out of your day April 7 to support KentuckyOne’s mission and learn more about ways to advance care for our diverse communities.”
