Three KentuckyOne Health Facilities Named ‘Best Places to Work in Kentucky’

Saint Joseph Martin, Medical Center Jewish East and Our Lady of Peace earned a place on the 13th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list, which identifies and recognizes Kentucky’s best employers. They were recognized during a special awards ceremony on April 26 at the Hyatt Regency Lexington.
Saint Joseph Martin took top honors in the small-sized employer category, for businesses with 15-149 employees. A total of 40 companies were selected to be part of this category statewide. This is the fourth year that Saint Joseph Martin was selected to be part of this list, and the first time it was selected as the overall winner for its category!
Medical Center Jewish East was recognized in the medium-sized employer category, for businesses with 150-499 employees. A total of 29 companies were selected as winners in this category. L&N Federal Credit Union was the top winner in the medium-sized employer category.
Our Lady of Peace was recognized in the large-sized employer category, for businesses with 500 or more employees. A total of 31 companies were selected as winners in this category. Edward Jones was the top winner in the large-sized employer category.
The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) state council and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce host the Best Places to Work initiative. The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal survey.
Nearly 1,300 people attended the awards ceremony and helped celebrate the 100 Kentucky companies that were recognized for their commitment to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
