Take steps toward a healthier you with the Step It Up Challenge, part of our continued commitment to improve our health and become more physically active as a company – one step at a time.
Regular walking reduces the risk of heart disease and improves blood pressure and blood sugar levels. It can improve your blood lipid profile, reduce the risk of osteoporosis, and help you maintain a healthy weight. And it's also good for your mental and emotional health!
Registration for the challenge (click here) opens on Jan. 8 through your well-being section of InsideCHI. The challenge begins Monday, Jan. 22, and runs for four weeks, ending on Feb. 18.
Your challenge goal is to log 180,000 steps between Jan. 22 - Feb. 18.
You can keep track of your steps by either manually entering your steps using the Steps Tracker on the wellness website, or syncing one of the following devices: Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Health, Apple Watch, Google Fit, Jawbone, MapMyFitness, and MyFitnessPal.
