Work with the Foundation on All Grants
Tuesday, July 03, 2018
KentuckyOne Health Foundations Grant Office oversees and supports all grants for KentuckyOne Health to ensure compliance.
If you are interested in applying for a grant that will benefit KentuckyOne Health patients or be conducted at any of our facilities (including our primary care network sites), or if you have already received a grant and haven’t yet worked with the Grant Office/Foundation, please notify us at 502.333.8178 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Grant Proposal/Application Review and Approval Process
• Any federal or non-federal grant proposal that includes performance at a KentuckyOne Health facility must be reviewed and approved by the Grant Office seven days prior to the submission deadline. This includes budget review.
• The Grant Office will review and respond with approvals or required modifications. Once approved, the proposal will be submitted to the grantor agency through the KentuckyOne Health Grant Office.
o Proposals involving partnerships with outside entities (universities, nonprofits, etc.)
must also be reviewed and approved, even when the outside entity serves as the lead applicant.
Federal Grant Management
A grant may involve federal funding though it is not received directly from a federal agency. Many state grants contain federal funding. Due to federal audit and compliance requirements, it is essential that all grants with federal funds are identified and reported. There can be serious consequences if this identification is not made. If there is any question about whether or not federal funds are involved, please contact the Grant Office.
