Three AHA Designations Awarded to Two Louisville Facilities

Jewish Hospital and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital have received recognition by the American Heart Association. Jewish Hospital has earned both the 2018 Mission: Lifeline® STEMI Receiving Center Gold Plus Recognition Award and, along with Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, the Get With the Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
Jewish Hospital has received the Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Receiving Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.
Jewish Hospital and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get with the Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The awards recognize the hospital's commitment to providing the most appropriate stroke treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
Jewish Hospital also received the association's Target: Stroke Honor Roll, and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital for Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus.
