LEARN: Expect Exciting Changes to Our Learning Platform This Fall

KentuckyOne Health Remaining Operations

LEARN will transition to ‘My CHI Knowledge Hub’ this September

The HealthStream Learning Management System, known as LEARN, has served as our learning platform since 2008. Beginning in mid-September, CHI will transition from HealthStream to a new cloud-based Learning Management System solution provided by Cornerstone. It will be called “My CHI Knowledge Hub.”

With this change, employees in the remaining operations (central and eastern market) can expect a more personalized learning experience. The new platform offers collaborative tools for peer-to-peer connections and sharing in a fresh, dynamic environment. Learning will be easier and fun as you continuously invest in your own development.

In mid-September, all LEARN transcripts will migrate to My CHI Knowledge Hub and the new system will launch. More details will be shared as they become available. You'll need to plan to complete all LEARN assignments before the My CHI Knowledge Hub go-live date to ensure there is an accurate snapshot of transcripts.

CHI will continue to manage the new hire assignments, such as Corporate Responsibility, Rapid Regulatory, Fraud and Abuse, etc., up to the cutover. To prevent non-compliance with mandatory certifications, employees due to renew a certification in August and September (BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP) should complete certification assignments by Aug. 31. (The September group will be assigned the appropriate certification module(s) with the August group to provide uninterrupted time to complete modules and prevent technical problems.)

If you have requests for assignments and curriculum builds, please continue to work with the System Clinical Education department. They will be working with each requestor to prioritize and plan accordingly during the migration period. Non-urgent assignments will not be assigned until after the My CHI Knowledge Hub go-live. Email KYLEARNEast@KentuckyOneHealth.org with any questions or concerns. You can learn more about Cornerstone here.

A Note for Divesting Operations:

Remaining/Divesting Operations will be on Separate Learning Systems in September:  So that you are aware, beginning in September, remaining operations will move to CHI’s cloud-based Learning Management System solution provided by Cornerstone (detailed above). Divesting operations employees will continue to use LEARN, the learning platform supported by HealthStream Learning Management.
