Back-to-School Bash Prepared Families for New School Year

Saint Joseph London

The 3rd Annual Back-to-School Bash hosted by KentuckyOne Health Pediatric Associates, a department of Saint Joseph London, was a huge success! More than 400 families walked through the doors on Friday, July 27, to receive free supplies to get a jump start on the new school year. More than 300 backpacks were given to school-age children.

Thank you to the United Way for providing lunch and to the Laurel City Police Department for offering child identification kits again this year. The kids had a great time playing in the bouncy houses and meeting Cinderella, the trolls Poppy and Branch, Marshall from Patrol, and Michelangelo from the Ninja turtles.

Special thanks to the Laurel County Youth Leadership Council for volunteering to help at the event. We couldn't have done it without our London community!
