Check Your Balances of Vacation, Personal and Holiday Hours

KentuckyOne Health

As we’re nearing the end of the year, please remember to check your PTO balances, especially your personal days. You can take three personal days off each year, using them when you’re sick or need to tend to personal matters, or as vacation days. However, any personal days you have left on Dec. 31 will be forfeited – they won't carry over to 2019.

Also, remember that the maximum amount of vacation time you can accumulate is 125% of your annual vacation days. This means you need to pay special attention to your vacation balance to ensure you don’t stop accruing vacation days. Take time to review your PTO today; learn more by visiting the Taking Time Off section on the well-being pages of InsideCHI.
