Service Excellence Training for Nurse Leaders
Patient Satisfaction literature and data tell us that nurse leaders are key drivers when it comes to an excellent patient experience. Yes, we all play a role, but this influential group sets the stage for exceeding a patient's expectations.
With that in mind, a laser-focused educational series was launched in 2014 with nurse leaders. Taught by KentuckyOne Chief Nursing Officer Dr. Velinda Block and the management team of the Patient Experience Department, the series gives nurse leaders the tools they need to prepare the foundation for exceptional service within their department.
This six-month series was completed in early summer 2015 at Jewish Hospital, Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph East. An intensive session with the key concepts from the six-month session was also taught over the summer at University of Louisville Hospital.
