Art to Beat Cancer 2013 began Nov. 1 as an online auction and ends on Friday, Nov. 22, with the live benefit. Twelve nationally and internationally known artists are participating, including: Eric Bowman, Jill Carver, Glenn Dean, Bato Dugarzhapov, Doyle Glass, Mark Haworth, Kevin Macpherson, Wanda Macpherson, Denise LaRue Mahlke, C.W. Mundy, Michele Usibelli and Dan Young.

All proceeds from the sale of 36-40 paintings will benefit cancer research at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville.

Research at the Brown Cancer Center is primarily focused on drug discovery and development. The cancer center has one of the most robust pipelines of anti-cancer drugs of any cancer center in the nation.

The sale price of each painting will be matched by the Veritas Curat Foundation, thereby doubling your donation toward finding a final cure for cancer.
