Walk with a Doc at Oxmoor Center

KentuckyOne Health and The Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Movement have teamed up to get Louisville area residents to “Walk with a Doc,” a free weekly walking program for anyone who's interested in taking steps to improve their health. Lace up your sneakers and join us for some fresh air, fun and fitness.

December-February: Oxmoor Center, 7900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville
(Typically held at Parklands of Floyds Fork/Beckley Creek Park's Egg Lawn)
We walk rain or shine
In addition to the numerous health benefits you'll enjoy just by walking, you'll also get:
- Free blood pressure checks
- The chance to talk with a doc while you walk
- An official Walk with a Doc shirt after attending three times
KentuckyOne Health employees and family members can earn wellness points if you log the activity as a "community event" on the My Healthy Spirit website.

Each walk is hosted by a friendly KentuckyOne Health physician and begins at 10 a.m.
2nd Saturday of the month (meet at Old Courthouse Building)
Parklands of Floyds Fork
2nd Saturday of the month (meet at Beckley Creek Park's Egg Lawn)
Dec.-Feb., the location changes to Oxmoor Center (7900 Shelbyville Rd)
3rd Saturday of the month (meet at shelter near amphitheater)
Dec.-Feb, the location changes to Medical Mall at Dixie Manor Shopping Center
4th Saturday of the month (meet at Southwestern Parkway entrance parking lot)
Dec.-March, the location changes to St. Stephen Family Life Center (1018 15th Street)
