Parkinson’s Disease Lunch & Learn at SIRH

Have you or a loved one recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease? Are you looking to learn more about Parkinson’s disease and what you can do to live well with Parkinson’s disease?

Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, along with The Parkinson’s Support Center of Kentuckiana, will provide a three-hour community PD 101 class to provide participants an overview of the many facets of Parkinson’s disease and coping strategies. Topics include exercise, nutrition, motor symptoms, emotional wellness and other practical living tips.

Janet Greene, health education director with the Movement Disorders Program at Kentucky Neuroscience Institute and the American Parkinson's Disease Association, will provide a presentation at the lunch and learn to persons with Parkinson’s disease and their family or caregivers.
