Work it Out! Free Fitness Class

Join certified personal trainer Rebecca Richmond for a 30-minute exercise class geared towards beginner and intermediate participants with no immediate health risks. The purpose of the class is to strengthen and stretch all major muscle groups of the body with a focus on the core muscles of the hips, back, abdominals, obliques and hamstrings. The class includes a warm-up, strength component, flexibility component and cool-down.

Offered every Tuesday (11-11:30 a.m.) and Thursday (4-4:30 p.m.) through April 11.
1. Demonstrate exercises to improve strength in major muscle groups
2. Demonstrate exercises to improve flexibility in major muscle groups
3. Complete recommended daily amount of physical activity by the American College of Sports Medicine (30 minutes)
