Employees Laced Up Sneakers for National Walking Day 

KentuckyOne Health employees participated in National Walking Day on April 2, wearing their favorite sneakers to work and banding together to walk during breaks, lunch and meetings. Several facility leaders hosted organized walks and gave away purple KentuckyOne shoelaces. This event kicked off our “Move Your Spirit” theme for the second quarter of Healthy Spirit.

Impact of the ICD-10 Delay for the OneCare Schedule 

CHI announced that as of now, all OneCare teams are asked to continue with current FY14 work plans and schedules until further notice. Over the next few weeks, OneCare and ICD-10 leaders will work to understand the challenges and opportunities that the ICD-10 delay presents for the OneCare FY14 and FY15 schedule. New CHI Emergency Notification and Alert Tool: Coming Soon 

Catholic Health Initiatives is in the process of implementing Everbridge, a mass notification system to automate routine and emergency communications to save time, free up personnel for other critical tasks and improve response times. Initially the system will be used for inclement weather-related emergencies, facility incidents and other urgent situations. Everbridge will replace LiveProcess.
