Congratulations KentuckyOne!

Thanks to everyone who has taken the Performance Culture Assessment (PCA) survey. Currently, we're at 59% participation across KentuckyOne Health. To celebrate this milestone, $25 Wal-Mart gift cards will be given to 100 employees, whose names were randomly drawn. HR will be distributing the gift cards soon.

We're inching toward 65% participation, at which point 25 employees will win an iPad2! There's still time to take the survey!

Take the survey at by Monday, April 22. It's short, confidential and anonymous. Remember when logging in to the survey, you'll need your employee ID number, which can be found in the top left corner of your paystub on HR/Payroll Connection (Louisville employees: this is NOT your clock or badge number).

Please note: ULH | JGBCC employees will not participate in the PCA in 2013.

Going Green Initiative to Pilot at SMEH

Did you know that in the course of a single day, the average hospital generates 26 pounds of waste per staffed bed? An enormous amount of time and money is spent to remove, transport, burn and bury this garbage. We know that health care needs to transform itself to focus not only on healing our patients, but the larger community and the environment that sustains us.

With Monday, April 22, being Earth Day, it is the perfect time to announce that Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is leading the way in a Going Green Initiative that will serve as a pilot for other KentuckyOne Health facilities in the Louisville area.
