Answering Dr. King's Call

KentuckyOne Employees Honor the Legacy of
Martin Luther King, Jr., through Acts of Service

In January KentuckyOne Health asked employees to devote the month to service in honor of Dr. King's vision, which included love, compassion and dignity for all human beings. At KentuckyOne, we work in our professional and personal lives to live by our four core values: Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. When we demonstrate these values in all we do, we are role models for Dr. King’s vision of serving others.

Thank you to those employees who shared their community service projects and random acts of kindness. Thank you for working together to make a positive impact in our communities.

Pause Before You Print

Go Green with KentuckyOne, Help Cut Printer Waste
The average office worker in the U.S. uses 10,000 sheets of copy paper each year. As part of Project GreenPrint, we are asking employees to be good stewards of our printing resources – simply, to think before you print. Conserving paper and ink not only helps improve finances, it protects the environment. KentuckyOne Health leaders are asking for a combined effort across the state to reduce unnecessary printing waste and costs. It's time to change your habits; printing should be an exception, not the rule.

This week's tip: Print to Portable Document Format (PDF) instead of paper and archive those PDF documents on your computer.
