KentuckyOne Celebrates Wear Red Day

On Friday, Feb. 5, National Wear Red Day, KentuckyOne Health employees joined Americans nationwide to take women’s health to heart. By wearing red, employees showed their support for the fight against women’s cardiovascular disease. KentuckyOne also hosted several heart-healthy events on Wear Red Day, and joined the American Heart Association at Macy’s at Fayette Mall to offer education and blood pressure screenings.

Taking it to the Heart Tour is Off to a
Great Start – Get Involved!

Our KentuckyOne facilities are hosting special hands-only CPR training events on-site this February as part of the Taking it to the Heart Tour. The tour is KentuckyOne's statewide initiative to train 35,000 Kentuckians in hands-only CPR during American Heart Month. It only takes about five minutes to be trained in hands-only CPR. Jump in and encourage your friends, neighbors and colleagues to do the same!

Join us for this one-day Sports Medicine symposium focusing on topics related to the overhead athlete and the injuries and conditions commonly related to these athletes, including injury prevention, biomechanics, training, surgical techniques, rehab, and sport specific sequelae. The symposium will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart & Lung Center. Continuing education credits are available.
