MLK Day of Service – Share Your Story!

Dr. Martin Luther King once said, “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” It’s in this spirit that KentuckyOne supports a “MLK Day of Service.” Let us know how your team is serving your community–big or small–in honor of the upcoming MLK Day. You could clean out your neighbor’s gutters, volunteer at your favorite charity, take food to a food pantry, or participate in church work.

Between now and Jan. 15, share with us examples of your or your team’s community service project or random acts of kindness. Send your pictures and a brief description to LaVay Lauter. On Jan. 19, MLK Day, we will share your acts of service and photos in an online gallery. Thank you for the many ways you bring wellness, healing and hope to all!

Culture Survey Results Generally Positive

While employees seem satisfied with KentuckyOne’s culture-building efforts, the Performance Culture Assessment pulse survey results also show where we can improve. Leadership effectiveness will be one focal point in the coming months. Facility leaders also may use survey results to adjust their action plans. Your leader will meet with you soon to review your facility’s survey results. And if you were among the 64 percent of employees who completed the PCA pulse survey, thank you.
