Recognizing Our Diversity

In many places across the U.S., June is celebrated as “Pride Month” by those among us who are Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual or Transgender (LGBT). June is chosen because of the memory of the Stonewall Inn riots in 1969. This event is seen as the beginning of an organized movement to address the discrimination that has been a part of the experience of the LGBT community. During this month we recognize the contributions of our employees who are part of the LGBT community and those we care for as part of our mission to bring wellness, healing and hope to all.
