KentuckyOne CEO Ruth Brinkley invites employees to participate in an organization-wide survey that evaluates our Culture of Safety. This survey will be open until March 16. Complete Your Corporate Responsibility Annual Education Training by March 31 

CHI’s Corporate Responsibility Annual Education is due March 31. Please complete this web-based training in LEARN before the due date. There are various modules in LEARN that must be completed to meet this requirement, including review of the revised Our Values and Ethics at Work Reference Guide. In accordance with CHI’s Mandatory Education Policy, employees who do not complete this training by the due date are subject to a final written warning.

Each year, Today’s Woman magazine selects a number of women leaders in Louisville/southern Indiana for their “Most Admired Woman” issue. Voting is now open on Today’s Woman’s website through March 31 at 12 p.m. Please take a moment to cast your vote for Alice Bridges, vice president of Healthy Communities, who is being recognized for her outstanding contribution in the health care field. Mount Sterling Employees Step Up for Community Coalition 

The purpose of KentuckyOne Health is “to create wellness, healing and hope for all, including the underserved.” At Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, hospital employees have embraced the concept. Their recent efforts to aid the homeless demonstrate their commitment to help others even beyond the walls of the hospital. Employees collected items to fill "care bags" for the homeless in their community. In addition, they held a bake sale and cake auction to contribute funds to the Montgomery County Homeless Coalition

Volunteers Needed for Surgery on Sunday 

RNs, endo techs, PSAs, scrub techs, and anesthesia and registration personnel are needed for an upcoming Surgery on Sunday event on March 22 at Medical Center Jewish East. Volunteers will provide care to 24 patients in the Endoscopy Suite and six surgical patients in the OR who are uninsured and meet specific criteria. Building a Healthy Community – Volunteers Needed for Habitat Home Build 

Do you want to help KentuckyOne Health build a healthier community? You can do so quite literally by volunteering March 19, 20 or 21 to raise the roof on a Habitat for Humanity home in Louisville. Volunteers are still needed to help with this build. You do not need homebuilding skills to participate, but a willingness to learn and take direction on assigned tasks.

Dress in Blue Day is Now March 13 

KentuckyOne Health is celebrating national "Dress in Blue" day on Friday, March 13 (not March 6 as originally planned, due to last week's weather conditions). Employees are encouraged to wear their best blue to show their support for Colorectal Cancer Awareness. Information tables will be available throughout our facilities.
