That’s a wrap! After nearly 30 stops on the Taking it to the Heart tour and countless hours throughout February, an astounding 43,490 individuals were trained or taught hands-only CPR, shattering the KentuckyOne Health goal of 35,000 people. And what a goal it was, as the training literally can mean the difference between life and death.

KentuckyOne Partners with Community Organizations to Offer Resources to Victims of Human Trafficking

Several KentuckyOne Health employees volunteered to work at Louisville’s first human trafficking “drop-in” center on Feb. 20. In addition to providing volunteers, KentuckyOne also contributed Wal-Mart gift cards and worked with other community partners to provide health screenings.

Remote Citrix Users: Enroll in Secure Remote Access by March 31

Starting on March 31, users who remotely access or via Citrix will be required to enroll in the Secure Remote Access tool, Duo. At that time, anyone who has not enrolled will be prompted to do so when they log in to Citrix systems and applications while working remotely from outside the CHI/KentuckyOne network.

It’s March Madness for Recognition Points!

You could receive hundreds of points in the KentuckyOne employee recognition program’s March Madness sweepstakes. You’re automatically entered into the drawing each time you give or receive peer-to-peer recognition from March 1 through April 4. Weekly sweepstakes will award recognition points to 64, 32, 16 and 4 employees as the basketball tournament progresses. Winners of the final weekly drawing receive 800 points each!

Diabetes and Nutrition Expo

If you are living with diabetes or may be at risk for developing diabetes, you are invited to attend our first annual Diabetes and Nutrition Expo on Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Keeneland Health Education Center in Lexington. Highlights include vendor/exhibit booths, educational sessions, a cooking demonstration with TV personality and fresh produce advocate Chef Curtis Aikens, health screenings and giveaways.
