Clean Hands Campaign Kicks Off at Jewish Hospital and Frazier Rehab

Dr. Jeffrey Goldberg, vice president of medical affairs at Jewish Hospital and Our Lady of Peace, with infection control lead, Linda Ross, launched the Clean Hands campaign on Sept. 29 at Jewish Hospital. At KentuckyOne Health, we are all committed to quality and safety. To ensure our patients receive high-quality care, we are implementing many strategies. One simple strategy that can reduce infection rates and slow the impact of the fast-approaching flu season, is keeping our hands clean.

The Clean Hands campaign is being piloted at Jewish Hospital and Frazier Rehab and runs through Dec. 18. It includes opportunities to sign a Clean Hands pledge, get a Clean Hands photo taken for our banner and participate in several drawings and challenges.

From outside, Dexter noticed the door didn’t latch. He pushed the door closed and ensured that it was secured, preventing the patient outside access.

SafetyFirst Focus:
Team Member Checking

Team Member Checking is really about working together for the safety of our patients and each other.
