ULH Transitions to HealthStream

After several months of behind-the-scenes planning and work, University of Louisville Hospital has successfully moved over to HealthStream for its patient satisfaction survey process. This transition brings ULH into full alignment with the rest of KentuckyOne Health. ULH leaders in the surveyed areas will be receiving their HealthStream log-in information and training during the first part of October.

Additionally, ULH’s 5E inpatient psychiatry unit has successfully transitioned over to HealthStream’s specialized automated phone survey. Behavioral health patients have the option to share their opinions about their care upon discharge.

Many thanks go to the leadership and staff at ULH for their patience and support during this time of change.

SafetyFirst Focus: Team Member Checking

Peer checking is an easy way to help our co-workers to perform at their best. To be successful, we must be willing to check our egos at the door! Successful checking requires that you are willing to check others AND that you are willing to have others check you.

What are some common activities you do in your department that could benefit from a peer check?
