Let’s make this breast cancer’s final few decades!
The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks empower people from across the nation to come together one million strong to raise funds and awareness to end breast cancer. Each walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor those who have battled the disease. Each walk is also a chance to raise money for groundbreaking research, help and support for patients, and mammograms for those without health insurance.
KentuckyOne Health is committed to helping end this terrible disease. That’s why there will be one KentuckyOne team taking part in the Lexington walk coming up in October, and another KentuckyOne team making strides in the Louisville event.
The Louisville walk will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at Waterfront Park, 129 East River Road. The distance is 3.1 miles. To register with the KentuckyOne team, visit MakingStridesWalk.org/louisville.
The Lexington walk is set for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. at Coldstream Park, 1875 Newtown Pike. The distance is 3.1 miles. To register with the KentuckyOne team, visit MakingStridesWalk.org/lexington.
