Congratulations to two of our KentuckyOne Health doctors for being recognized by the National Cancer Institute! Dr. Monte Martin
and Dr. Jessica Croley
with KentuckyOne Health Hematology and Oncology Associates have both received an "Appreciation Award" for their successful level of participation and the number of patients they have enrolled to NCI clinical trials over the past three grant years. Only 10 percent of all NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) rostered physicians qualified for an award!
KentuckyOne Health Cancer Care, sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives, participates in the National Cancer Institute’s community oncology research program. The NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) is a national NCI-supported network that brings cancer prevention clinical trials and cancer care delivery research (CCDR) to people in their communities.
Catholic Health Initiatives was awarded the NCORP grant in 2014 and is now in year 4 of the 5-year grant.
