Steve Frantz Named Chief Financial Officer

Steve Frantz, CPA, has been selected as our new chief financial officer for the remaining operations.

Steve will join KentuckyOne Health on Feb. 26, 2018, with more than 24 years of leadership experience in health care finance. He was most recently the market chief financial officer (CFO) for Saint Francis Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee, operating two hospitals with a total of 628 beds, 2,000 employees, and annual net revenues exceeding $400M.

Prior to his time in Memphis, Steve provided leadership as CFO to hospitals in Tennessee, Arizona, Missouri, South Carolina and Kentucky. Steve was CFO at both Georgetown Community Hospital ('99-'01) and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset ('04-'07).

Steve brings with him a history of strategic success, combining financial operational plans with tactical implementation to optimize revenue, profitability and client satisfaction. He is a creative coalition-builder and strategic thinker with strong communications skills that will undoubtedly serve KentuckyOne well in this period of transformation.

Steve holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant (CPA).

Steve has three grown children: Kyle, Brad and Ryan. All three are currently in Missouri, one working and two attending college. Steve also welcomed his first grandchild in October. He and Jamie Hulet plan to relocate to Lexington with their three cats and a Great Dane.
