John Brothers Named Vice President of Mission Integration

John Brothers has been selected as vice president of mission integration for the remaining operations of KentuckyOne Health. John has a long and distinguished career in health care, shaping mission and business strategies for faith-based health systems. He will join the KentuckyOne Health executive team on April 23, and will also serve as the southeast division vice president for mission integration.

John joins KentuckyOne Health after more than 34 years with the CHRISTUS Health System where he held leadership roles in mission and business integration. John recently served as vice president of mission integration and leadership for CHRISTUS Health. Serving CHRISTUS facilities in Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico, John ensured alignment on the strong faith-traditions, mission and values of the organization. He has a proven track record of shaping success in the delivery of spiritual, ethical, high-quality and compassionate care, while also fostering strong relationships with community and faith partners. In addition to mission integration, John has significant experience in leading hospital operations as well.

A native of Louisiana with advanced degrees from Louisiana College, Louisiana State University, University of Alabama at Birmingham and Aquinas Institute of Theology, John is relocating to Lexington from Dallas, Texas. John will play an integral role in the implementation of our RENEW 2018-2021 Strategic Plan, which is built around our ministry's strong mission and faith-based heritage. He will work across service lines and facilities, supporting the delivery of quality, compassionate patient care and engage with partners across the communities as we bring wellness, healing and hope to all.
