Helping athletes compete at their highest level is something the physicians, physical therapists and certified athletic trainers at Frazier Rehab have been doing in the Louisville community for more than two decades. With the spring racing season underway, Frazier Rehab is providing the sports medicine services for the Louisville Triple Crown of Running series including the Anthem 5K which took place on Feb. 23; the Rodes City Run 10K which will run this Saturday, Mar. 9; and the Papa John’s 10 Miler scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 23. In addition to providing athletic trainers, Frazier provides a physical therapist and physicians at the finish line medical tent at each of the races. Frazier also underwrites the EMS services provided, including on-site ambulance and bike responders.
Jon Holland, PT, OCS who supervises the medical management of the Triple Crown running races said sponsorships at local events give Frazier an opportunity and platform to promote the various specialized sports medicine services it provides such as the runner’s edge running program, golf swing analysis, custom orthotics and traditional physical therapy. With Frazier's 17 outpatient rehab clinics throughout the Greater Louisville area, including two specialty sports medicine clinics, patients can choose locations that are closest to where they live or work.
