Among the overwhelming number of thank you messages for National Doctor's Day, were many recognitions for our Frazier Rehab Institute providers. Read just a few of the messages from our KentuckyOne Health Louisville Region employees.
I must spotlight Dr. Kaelin
and Dr. Adamkin
, at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, downtown. They both are approachable by the therapists and have excellent bedside manner. They take the time to attend and address the patient's needs, no matter how big or small; the small needs to us can be big needs for the patients. They are a great asset to Frazier and we are fortunate to work alongside them.
The physicians at Frazier are such a large part of what allows miracles to happen daily. Dr. Kaelin
is one of those physicians and demonstrates the type of work and care that a medical director of a world renowned facility should. He is so knowledgeable of not only the Neuro population, but all the patients we care for. I see him share that knowledge with the residence and medical students, with fellow physicians, with the nursing staff, with therapy staff, and with patients and family members. I’m always impressed by the way he does it so that each can understand some very complex ideas, which I feel is an invaluable skill. I’ve seen him get emotional with patients and families and proves how much he truly loves what he does and cares about who he is treating. I can see his investment in the patient and family, and his investment in the team that we are. I am lucky to learn from him and work with him.
Thank you for the example you set and the work that you do, Dr. Kaelin!
is such a pleasure to work with. He is so approachable and available to our team when we have questions or special requests. We are very lucky to have him as a member of KOMG.
Dr. Andrew Duffee
has been a great resource for Bullitt County residents. He has been so supportive to our Frazier team and is very approachable and easy to work with. His patients really like him and his awesome team at Medical Center South!
Dr. Kathrin Lafaver
has brought an internationally famous program to Frazier Rehab Institute. Dr. Lafaver is passionate about helping patients with neurological disorders who have been unable to find the help they need. The Functional Movement Disorder Program has helped patients regain previous functional levels after a one week stay! The program couples psychological support and physical rehab for debilitating disorders, and 75% of patients significantly improve after only a 1 week stay and continue to improve even after 6 months! She speaks all over the world and has brought an incredible spotlight to Frazier.
Dr. David Caborn
is an outstanding surgeon and educator. He has been incredibly patient and kind to me and my family throughout his care of my son. I can’t thank him enough for a fantastic outcome.
is very responsive when we have someone that needs to be worked in for an appointment. He is consistently available and attentive to our team’s questions and requests. His bedside manner is fantastic and we are so happy he is a part of the KOMG!
